Laura Thomas is an easel paintings conservator restorer trained at the Courtauld Institute of Art. With a decade of experience working in New York and London, her passion for conservation and interior design inspires her to celebrate the beauty of paintings by restoring them to the highest standard so that they can be enjoyed for years to come. Her studio is in Tonbridge, Kent, and she serves Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells, and the surrounding areas. She is a member of the British Association of Picture Conservators and Restorers (BAPCR).
Conservation Skills
With years of experience in institutions and private painting conservation studios, Laura is well-versed in addressing various painting conservation challenges, such as flaking paint, losses, tears, scratches, varnish removal, surface cleaning, and retouching, among others.
