About
Laura Thomas is an easel paintings conservator restorer trained at the Courtauld Institute of Art. With a decade of experience working in New York and London, her passion for conservation and interior design inspires her to celebrate the beauty of paintings by restoring them to the highest standard so that they can be enjoyed for years to come. Her studio is in Badsey, Worcestershire on the edge of the Cotswolds, just outside Broadway. The studio is in easy reach of Chipping Camden, Morten-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, and Chipping Norton. She also serves Stratford Upon Avon, Warwickshire, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, Leamington Spa and Warwick, Warwickshire, areas of Oxfordshire and the surrounding areas. She is a member of the British Association of Picture Conservators and Restorers (BAPCR).

With years of experience in institutions and private painting conservation studios, Laura is well-versed in addressing various painting conservation challenges, such as flaking paint, losses, tears, scratches, varnish removal, surface cleaning, and retouching, among others.
